This policy explains what The Deez List (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit thedeezlist.com or subscribe to our newsletter, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect your email address to send you the newsletter, and that’s about it.

What we collect

• Your email address (and your first name, if you choose to give it) when you subscribe.
• Basic email engagement data, such as whether an email was delivered, opened, or a link was clicked. Our email provider collects this automatically, and we use it to keep the list healthy and figure out which deals readers actually like.
• Anything you send us, such as a reply to an issue or a deal request.

How we use it

We use your information only to send you The Deez List, respond to you, and improve the newsletter. We do not sell or rent your email address, and we don’t share it with anyone except the service providers below who help us run the newsletter.

Service providers

• Kit (ConvertKit) stores our subscriber list and sends our emails. Your email address is processed by Kit under Kit’s privacy policy.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and may process standard technical data (like IP address and browser type) to deliver pages securely.

Cookies and analytics

We keep this minimal. This site doesn’t use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies) to count visits. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer you land on (for example, Amazon) may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy so the purchase can be credited.

Unsubscribe anytime

Every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you’re off the list. You can also email [email protected] and we’ll remove you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We keep your information for as long as you’re subscribed, and delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period after you unsubscribe or ask us to.

Children

The Deez List isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
