How picks are chosen

Picks are chosen because they’re things people genuinely want and because they’re selling for noticeably less than they typically do, not because of the commission. Retailers and brands don’t pay to be included, and they don’t review or approve what we write.

What “typically” means

When a card says “typically ~$X, now $Y,” the first number is roughly what that item usually sells for, based on publicly available pricing data, and the second is the price we saw when the issue was published. It’s a guide, not a guarantee.

Deals can change or end at any time, sometimes within hours. Always confirm the final price, seller, and details on the retailer’s site before you buy.
